Newsletter November 2014
The autumn is now final and it’s going to be really winter despite the beautiful and sunny days we enjoyed until recently. The forest starts to change into beautifully yellow, orange and red colours. Autumn is the period of transition, the end of the summer. The autumn weather is coming. And with it the period of evaluation about this year. Then get ready for a new year…

Our new website
New website
During the past months we have been very busy with preparations for the various exhibitions and Arvid van Dam of Story-Design has been working hard on our new website. Since mid-October, the website is online and can be admired, we are very happy with it. I look forward hearing your reaction on our website www.lbetho.com
Prints
The giclees prints that I offered in the last newsletter are almost sold out. We still have a few copies of all sizes and prices. If you are interested, please let me know, I can tell you the prices. Be quick, because when it’s gone it’s gone. It is nice as a gift or as a promotional stunt. And 50% of the proceeds goes to the Foundation Muscles for muscles.
Christmas cards

Our Christmas card for 2014
As always in this period, we have spent a lot of energy in designing the Christmas cards. I think we created a beautiful card, and the proceeds will in favor of 2 charities: the foundation Muscles for muscles and Warchild. We would like to print the cards as quickly as possible to get everything complete in early December and to ensure that everyone can send their cards also. If you would like to order the cards, do this as soon as possible, but no later than November 21.
Exhibitions
On September 12 and 13 we exhibited at the Rotterdam International Art Fair in the Laurenskerk in Rotterdam.
It was a very busy event, and we had lots of enthusiastic comments on the latest works.
On September 27 and 28 we exhibited in the Berkhout Art Fair in Berkhout. The exhibition was in the beautiful Berkhouter Church. In this beautiful atmosphere, the colourful works were well reflected, and also here we got many positive reactions of the art-loving public.
On November 8 and 9 we exhibited in the Rotterdam Ahoy during the National Art days. This is a juried event only for chosen artists.
Despite the beautiful weather there were many visitors on Sunday. It was a successful day, and various interested parties bought the new Christmas card.
New exhibitions
Miami
We are active and successful abroud.
Our participation in the Basel Art Miami is final. We participate in the Spectrum show in Winwood, downtown Miami. The Art Basel Miami is the largest art fair in the world with millions of visitors who come from all over the world. We are looking forward to this huge event.
Yesterday, the paintings and the brochures for the transport to Miami were collected, so that our work can be showcased in time for the opening of the show. The fair lasts from December 3 (opening) until 7.
New York
We are invited for a solo exhibition in New York, at a gallery on the Lower East Side. This is the new and very trendy Gallery district. This exhibition will probably take place in 2016.
